How we make money

InfoNavigator is reader-supported. Here is the whole business model, in plain language.

Affiliate commissions

When you click a product link on this site and make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission — typically a small percentage of the sale. This costs you nothing extra; the price you pay is the same.

What commissions do not do

• They do not change rankings. MetaScores are computed from public ratings data. No brand can pay for a higher score or a better rank.
• They do not change reviews. Pros and cons are written from real owner feedback, including the complaints.
• They do not buy silence. If a product is bad value, we say so — even if it pays a commission.

What we do not do

• We do not sell placement, rankings, or reviews.
• We do not accept payment for "featured" spots that masquerade as rankings. Any paid placement is labeled as advertising.
• We do not sell your data. There is no account system and nothing to sell.

Why this model

Reader-supported affiliate revenue lets us stay independent: no advertisers to please, no paywalled "premium" picks. If you would rather not use our links, the rankings and all the data are free regardless — search the product name yourself and buy wherever you like.
